How to reach Ravenna
by plane
Ravenna can be reached through Bologna (G. Marconi airport), Forlì (G. Ridolfi airport), Rimini (Miramare airport) and Venice (M. Polo airport) International Airports.
They offer flights to and from all major European cities and connections to intercontinental destination through the hubs of Milan and Rome.
by train
The railway station is Ravenna (piazza Farini 13, phone +39 0544 212755), just ten minutes walking distance from the conference location and the hotels. Local trains from Bologna and other parts of Italy reach Ravenna and fast Eurostar trains connect Bologna with Italy's main cities Milan, Venice, Rome, Florence).

by car
Ravenna is most easily reached by roads and motorways. Ravenna can be reached from the north by the Q14 motorway (autostrada) from Bologna, the meeting point for motorway 1 "del Sole", the Q21 Turin-Piacenza and the A22 from Brennero.
The quickest way from Venice is still the state road 309 "Romea" which is joined by the roads from Padova and Ferrara.
When coming from the south, as well as the motorways 1 and 14, it is worth noting the Superstrada E45 which crosses the Apennines and links Ravenna with Rome and the state road 16 Adriatica.
